Garmin Nuvi 200W Review Summary

The widescreen Nuvi 200W From Garmin is a great GPS system to purchase.  I moved to a new state and have found it very handy for going out, finding local services & preventing any stress of print out maps, directions & higher heart rates due to interactions with signifcant others on road trips.

The Pros:
- Widescreen, easy viewing of directions
- Anticipates turns & provides great directions "in 200 yards turn left, then turn right"
- Voice, in my mind a must for GPS units
- Updated Maps & the ability to purchase more up-to-date maps online
- Search functionality of local services within an area

The Cons:
- No Traffic Updates
- Satellite Connection may be lost in cities & valleys
- Battery Life is short if the unit is not plugged in - 1.5 to 2 hours (but your car is always there)

Now, I have run into issues before in the past 9 months of owning my unit, like being told to turn into a one way street in San Francisco... the wrong way.  But other than that incident the unit does a great job of navigating your way through unfamiliar areas.  The Search functionality is also useful for getting errands done in unfamiliar areas.
